The deputy of the Al-Fateh coalition, Hassan Shaker Al-Kaabi, affirmed on Sunday that the political blocs did not give any name to the prime minister until now, indicating that this week will witness intense meetings between the political forces in this regard.
Al-Kaabi said in a statement to "Information", that "the political forces have not agreed on choosing a specific person until this moment," noting that "this week will be decisive in choosing an alternative candidate for Adel Abdel-Mahdi acceptable to all."
He added, "This week will witness intense meetings between the political forces to put forward a number of candidates, one of whom will be chosen for the position of prime minister," stressing that "the national agreement is the one who decides to choose a person to occupy the position of prime minister and not the largest bloc."
