[size=45] The President of the Supreme National Committee for Follow-up of the Situation of Iraqis Abroad, Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Mrs. Ivan Faiq Jabro, made a quick visit to the Sultanate of Oman to monitor the conditions of Iraqis and build bridges of communication with them.[/size]
[size=45]Her Excellency met with the Omani Minister of Social Development, Mrs. Leila bint Ahmed Al-Najjar, in the presence of the Chargé d'Affairs at the Iraqi embassy, Dr. Muhammad Issa Al-Issawi, and discussed the conditions of Iraqis present on the Sultanate’s territories and the mechanism for joint action to solve some of the problems facing them.[/size]
[size=45] And the exchange of research and studies that would serve both sides in developing the system of social programs and services that concern the two ministries, especially working to provide plans and programs that aim to serve the Iraqis on the land of the Sultanate.[/size]
[size=45]During the meeting, Mrs. Jabro praised the great development and modern renaissance of the Sultanate and the progress and prosperity it enjoys, stressing the depth of the historical relationship between the two countries, Iraq and the Sultanate of Oman.[/size]
[size=45]Meanwhile, the Omani Minister of Social Development, Laila Bint Hamad, welcomed this visit, expressing at the same time her ministry’s willingness to further joint cooperation and maintain coordination between the two sides to exchange experiences in a way that serves the development of the system of social programs and services that concern the two ministries.[/size]
