, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, accompanied by a government team that includes a number of ministers and members of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, will head to Saudi Arabia today, Wednesday, in response to an official invitation he received to visit Riyadh.
The advisor to the prime minister, Hussein Allawi, said in an interview with the official newspaper, "The visit is important and came in an exceptional circumstance," noting that "it was arranged in previous visits by members of the government team and the Saudi Iraqi Coordination Council, which is chaired on the Iraqi side by the vice-president of the Council." Ministers and Minister of Finance Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi.
He added that "the visit will discuss a number of files of interest to the two countries, including ways to confront the crises in the region, economic coordination and support for development and investment plans presented by the Iraqi National Investment Authority to Saudi companies, and the facilities that the Iraqi government will provide to Saudi companies and the orientation towards establishing joint projects."
