Referring to the five-year cooperation document that he signed with his Iraqi counterpart, Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare Muhammad Shariatmadari said: This document constitutes a roadmap for bilateral cooperation in various fields of the labor market; Including vocational training and social welfare, which contribute to the development of economic activities in the two countries.

He explained that, according to this five-year document, the two countries, Iran and Iraq, will undertake joint training programs related to the labor market, workers 'and employers' affairs, and trade union formation and development, in addition to issues of safety and security, labor control and relevant standards.
He added: The first step in the context of implementing this document was launched from Najaf, through an agreement (with this Iraqi governorate) to establish a joint training center to graduate trainers of institutes of the tourism sector and religious visits and to develop standard standards related to hosting visitors from around the world to visit Najaf. .
He continued, that the Iranian Technical and Vocational Education Organization will educate and train tourism cadres at the higher levels, inside Najaf and then Holy Karbala, with the aim of developing standard standards in the fields of tourism and hosting visitors.
The Iranian Minister of Labor also noted that the five-year cooperation document between Tehran and Baghdad also provides for bilateral cooperation in the fields of social security and insurance as well.
Shariatmadari arrived in Baghdad last Sunday, on an official visit that lasted 3 days, during which he held talks with the Iraqi Ministers of Finance and Labor and a number of other senior officials in this country.
