Iraq is the third country to import these fruits from Turkey

In the first quarter of this year, Turkey exported strawberries to 29 countries, at a value of 4 million 993 thousand and 307 dollars, which is 160% higher than last year 2020, the association’s president, Khairuddin Ojak, said in a report.
Ojak added, "The association has increased the number of strawberry exporting countries to 29 countries during this period compared to 15 countries in the same period in 2020," noting that "the association's goal for the year 2021 is to increase exports to 40 million dollars."
He pointed out that "half of the exports of strawberries, which were fresh, dried or frozen, went to Russia, followed by Romania, Iraq and Georgia."
