{Economic: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Industry and Minerals revealed the number of factories that have been restored to work and re-entering service this year 2021.

The ministry's media official, Murtada Al-Safi, told {Euphrates News} that "the ministry has developed a plan to rehabilitate and operate the suspended factories and divide them according to priority and need and according to the percentages of achievement that they have reached through investing their own efforts, so it was able to operate, rehabilitate and return 16 factories and laboratories to service since the beginning of current year".
And he indicated, "The laboratories that included the opening are {the Mahaweel brick factory, the medical oxygen factory, and the wire industry in four governorates in Kirkuk, Mosul, Diwaniyah and Maysan, as well as the opening of the bags factory in the Kadhimiya area, and the masks factory}.
He pointed out that "all the laboratories that were opened are now operating in a high and smooth manner."
