    {Political: Al Furat News} The Presidency of the Republic revealed a tendency among some political parties to postpone the early legislative elections, scheduled to take place on the tenth of next October, warning that these developments may cause the political process to collapse.
    Adviser to the President of the Republic, Ismail Al-Hadidi, a journalist, said that the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, attaches the utmost importance to the elections file and insists on holding them on time, as one of the results of the October demonstrations, indicating that Salih is following the developments and preparations of the electoral process through meetings, as well as putting forward proposals that can Add and achieve good results.
    Al-Hadidi revealed that the Presidency of the Republic reassured the heads of friendly and brotherly countries that the elections would be held on the specified date, stressing the importance of canceling the foreign vote to ensure integrity. Al-Hadidi warned that attempting to disrupt the democratic process would harm the general situation and cause Iraq many problems and loss of confidence, expressing fears of the consequences of postponing the elections. 
    Meanwhile, the Independent High Electoral Commission allocated 86 centers for the purpose of voting for the displaced, with 309 polling stations within the biometric cards and the short-term electronic card for this category to participate in the elections for the year 2021. 
    The assistant spokesperson for the Independent High Electoral Commission, Nibras Abu Souda, said, "The commission has completed the procedures for the participation of the displaced who are registered in official documents in the electoral process, as 86 polling centers have been allocated, with 309 stations within the liberated governorates that have witnessed waves of displacement during the past few years as a result of terrorist operations.
