, the Kurdish Parliamentary Future Bloc demanded, on Wednesday, the Prime Minister, the Supreme Judicial Council and the Federal Public Prosecution, to prosecute what it described as the region's oil thieves.
The head of the bloc, Sarkot Shams al-Din, said in a televised interview, which was followed by "Mawazine News", that "there are figures who have used their influence within the region to steal and sell oil to satisfy their greed and have achieved huge fortunes at the expense of the Kurdish people."
He added that "influential Kurdish parties contributed to the dissipation of the region's wealth to satisfy its desires," explaining that "selling oil is subject to the influence of mafias and thieves in Kurdistan."
Shams Al-Din called on Al-Kazemi's government, "to apply the principle of where did you get this from all the influential and officials, including the officials of the region." Ended 29/A 4
