[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The consultant of the European Center for Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence Studies, retired Major General Imad Alo, confirmed that the decision for the complete withdrawal of US forces is not clear and its conditions have not been fulfilled by Iraq and the United States.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency ( NINA ) that the issue of the withdrawal of combat forces, even if it was officially announced by the two sides, was not clear as expected.
Alo added that: The word “empowerment” means that there will be an American combat force to help the Iraqi forces against ISIS, and its stay in Ain Al-Assad gives it the ability to react quickly and with air support for the Iraqi forces for future situations that may be exposed to it by the terrorist ISIS.
He explained: In general, the Iraqi forces have the military, human and armament capabilities to confront all combat situations.
Alou asked: What is the response of the resistance factions to the complete withdrawal, including advisors and trainers? Continuing..we are waiting for their reaction, considering that the condition for a complete withdrawal has not been fulfilled so far, after what was proposed by the Iraqi and American sides.
Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, announced the withdrawal of combat units from the international coalition and their redeployment outside Iraq.
