    {Economic: Al Furat News} Minister of Planning Khaled Batal Al-Najm announced today, Tuesday, a new plan for cooperation between Iraq and the International Organization for Migration, which includes financing a thousand Iraqi small and medium projects.
    In a speech he delivered at the opening of the celebration organized by the International Cooperation Department in the ministry, to announce the joint cooperation plan between the two sides, Al-Najm said that "the financing of these projects comes in addition to (2000) projects that the International Organization for Migration is financing, through the Organization's Project Fund, expressing Expressing the Iraqi government's appreciation for this initiative, which would contribute to the recovery of the Iraqi economic structure, as a means of economic recovery.
    He stressed that "Iraq is on its way to recovery and advancement, to keep pace with progress in various fields, and medium and small projects will have a major role in advancing the economic recovery in the basic and secondary sectors, and making use of the energy and effectiveness of a large group of Iraqi society, including young people and graduates of various disciplines." ".
    For his part, the Minister of Trade in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Kamal Muslim, confirmed that "this project will achieve important results in development and development, providing job opportunities for both sexes, and reducing unemployment, which in turn will lead to the stability of the individual and family and the protection of youth."
    For his part, US Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Tueller said, "The United States is the largest donor of humanitarian aid in Iraq, as the government has provided more than $3 billion in humanitarian aid to the displaced Iraqis since 2014."
    He added, "We have contributed to the recovery of the Iraqi economy first from the destruction of ISIS and now as a result of the Corona pandemic by investing in the capabilities of Iraqis."
    In addition, the head of the mission of the International Organization for Migration in Iraq, Jorge Jikauri, said that "the Enterprise Development Fund, which targets small and medium enterprises and works on the stability of Iraq, represents a solution and an increase in the financial income of the private sector in order to recover the Iraqi economy."
    He added, "The Fund provides thousands of job opportunities, for women and men, and seeks to find solutions to the problem of unemployment, as well as helping the displaced and providing jobs for them," stressing that "the Fund will continue to provide aid to the Iraqi government
