Today, Tuesday, gold prices witnessed a significant increase, with the rise of the dollar and US bonds, which makes gold less attractive to other currency holders.
Spot gold was up 0.3% at $1,58.61 an ounce, as of 0407 GMT, after hitting its highest level in nearly a month on Monday, and US gold futures rose 0.8 percent to $162.90.
The dollar index is back above 100, near a two-year high of 100.19, while Treasury yields have risen to their highest since December 2018.
Palladium rose 1% at $2,457.49, spot silver rose 0.4% to $25.18 an ounce and platinum rose 0.5% to $981.56. Ended 29 / 92
