The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed today, Wednesday, the importance of developing economic reform plans, while stressing the need to respond to the priorities of citizens.
The Media Office of the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement, "The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received today at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, Minister of Planning Khaled Battal."
He added, "The president heard from the minister a briefing on the ministry's workflow and plans to raise the level of performance of institutions, and to address the issues facing ministries in carrying out the tasks entrusted to them."
Saleh stressed "the important role of the Ministry of Planning in setting development plans, economic and social reform, human resource development and population policies through research and studies according to citizens' priorities."
He pointed to "the importance of reforming the public and private sectors and overcoming the difficulties that stand in front of it," stressing the need to "address and alleviate the problems of housing, unemployment and poverty." Ended 29 / h
