    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

The European Aviation Safety Organization renewed the ban on Iraqi Airways planes and prevented them from flying in the skies of Europe, so that the ban imposed for more than 7 years will continue.
And documents showed the results of the meeting of the European Aviation Safety Organization “EASA”, which included the continuation of banning more than 10 international companies from flying in European airspace, including Iraqi Airways planes, along with planes of companies from Venezuela, Iran, Nigeria, Angola, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe.

6 months before Iraqi Airways to implement the conditions of the "YASA" organization to lift the ban
With the renewal of the ban on Iraqi Airways aircraft, the ban will have passed 7 years now.
The new ban will continue for an additional 6 months, until the European Aviation Safety Organization holds its next meeting in November of the current year 2022, to determine whether to lift the ban on Iraqi Airways planes or renew it, according to Iraqi Airways' application of the terms of the organization's regulations.

The Ministry of Transport is discussing with “IATA” to no avail and leaves the application of the regulating conditions
Over the past months, the Ministry of Transport has continued to declare and promise about “efforts to lift the air ban on Iraqi aircraft in the skies of Europe,” as Transport Minister Nasser al-Shibli repeatedly reveals discussions with the International Aviation Organization “IATA” to lift the ban on the green bird, to no avail.
Experts point out that there is no need for talks, but only to apply the terms of the European regulation, to lift the ban that has been in place since 2015 and imposed on Iraqi airlines in European airspace due to their failure to meet the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Iraqi Airways fails to implement the terms and regulations of the International Aviation Organization
And aviation specialists considered that the size of the violations committed by Iraqi Airways, which led to the ban on its flights in European airspace, is very simple, compared to the history and reputation of the company.
Aviation consultant Fares Al-Jawari points out that these violations are mainly borne by the crew, who found problems at the time, and it was possible to overcome them after the arrival of the SAFA report through the company’s Assurance and Quality Department and the follow-up of the Air Safety Department for this matter in order to prevent the recurrence of such cases.
He explained that the recurrence of these violations came due to the failure to implement the conditions of the International Aviation Organization, noting that the organization issued a regulation for the solution in 2014 and 2016, in which all the steps that, if implemented by Iraqi airlines, would be ready for the phase of lifting the ban.
