    [size=52]In support of the energy sector in Iraq, the National Investment Commission invites investment authorities in the governorates to benefit from the renewable energy loan initiative[/size]

    [size=45]In line with Iraq’s commitments to the decisions of the Paris Climate Conference and the directives of the state calling for the development of the energy sector in Iraq by relying on renewable sources to provide electric power, the National Investment Commission directed all investment commissions in the governorates to benefit from the initiative to finance the acquisition of electric power generation units from renewable sources to cover the needs of individuals and institutions that Launched by the Central Bank of Iraq early this year[/size]
    [size=45]Noting what it included in providing interest-free loans with a one-time administrative commission of 6% with a repayment period that extends to five years from the date of the bank’s financing.[/size]
    [size=45]In the light of which, controls and methodologies were prepared for the implementation of the initiative, which represents a distinct transition for the energy sector in Iraq that can contribute effectively to changing the societal culture of this sector.[/size]
    [size=45]The authority had granted investment licenses to international companies such as (China's Power Shenan, France's Total and UAE's Masdar) to set up solar power projects, as part of the state's current drive to shift from traditional energy to clean and renewable energy.[/size]
