Baghdad / Obelisk: US State Department spokesman Ned Price announced, on Thursday, that the United States is monitoring the current situation in the capital, Baghdad, following the storming of the Green Zone and the Iraqi parliament.
He said, "The United States does not have anything that it can offer to Iraq at the moment, other than just monitoring the situation."
This came in an exclusive statement to Al-Hurra news channel, after massive demonstrations broke out, storming the Iraqi parliament and the fortified Green Zone in the capital, Baghdad.
