    Economy News - Baghdad
On Sunday, the Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee decided to form a subcommittee to follow up on the decisions of the Ministry of Oil and raise the price of gas supplied to cars.
Committee member Sabah Sobhi said in an interview with "Shafaq News" and followed by "Economy News", that "there is confusion in the decisions of the Ministry of Oil, the latest of which was raising the price of gas supplied to cars to 300 dinars per liter after it was 200 dinars per liter."
And that "the Parliamentary Committee on Oil, Gas and Natural Resources will hold a meeting in the coming days to discuss confusion with the decisions issued by the Ministry of Oil."
He added that "the decision to raise the price of gas supplied to cars affects the citizens and is not justified," noting that "the Ministry of Oil justifies the reasons for the rise as a result of the rise in prices globally."
He continued, "Iraq is an oil country and possesses gas, and that the Parliamentary Oil Committee, according to the rules of procedure, will form a subcommittee to follow up on the decisions issued by the Ministry of Oil."
