Within 9 months, Iraq imported Turkish goods with a financial value of more than $7 billion
Shafaq News/ The Turkish Exporters Council announced on Saturday that Iraq topped the list of Middle Eastern and Gulf countries in importing Turkish goods during the first nine months of 2022.
Turkish exports to the countries of the Middle East and the Arab Gulf amounted to $24.7 billion during that period of this year.
According to data issued by the Turkish Exporters Council, the country's exports to the countries of the Middle East and the Arabian Gulf, achieved a growth during the mentioned period by 24.8 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Iraq topped the list of countries in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf that imported the most from Turkey, with $7 billion and 507 million, followed by Israel with $5 billion and 111 million, then the UAE with $2.539 billion.
During the first nine months of this year, Turkish exports to the State of Qatar amounted to one billion and 89 million dollars, and to Saudi Arabia, 420 million and 865 thousand dollars.
