Within 7 months, Iraq imported more than $4 billion in Iranian goods
Shafaq News/ The Iranian Customs Authority announced today, Saturday, that Iraq ranked second among the five main markets in importing Iranian goods within seven months, starting from the beginning of the Persian year, which begins on March 21 until October 20.
A spokesman for the Customs Authority, Mortada Emadi, said in a statement today, that the five main export markets for Iranian goods were in the seven months, China, Iraq, the UAE, Turkey and India, respectively.
He explained that exports to China amounted to 9.181 billion dollars, Iraq 4.029 billion dollars, UAE 3.476 billion, Turkey 3.081 billion and India 1.098 billion dollars.
Emadi also pointed out that Iranian exports to the five major markets mentioned, quantitatively accounted for 70.3 percent and in price 73.4 percent of the country's total exports during this period.
