Today, Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani commented on the obstacles that prevent a university professor from playing his full role, whether in the education chain or in the local community, as he put it.
The media office stated in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, met with a number of university professors and university cadres in Diwaniyah Governorate, as part of his inspection visit today, Saturday, to the governorate.
Al-Kazemi listened, according to the statement, to "a presentation on the most important problems and obstacles facing the educational process and the work of universities in the province, explaining that the ministerial curriculum has given the education and education sectors distinct importance."
The Prime Minister expressed the government's keenness, through its measures, to overcome the obstacles that prevent university professors from playing their full role, whether in the education chain or in the local community.
The Prime Minister urged university and academic frameworks to perpetuate ethical standards, in parallel with the scientific requirements of universities, expressing his conviction that university professors have the ability to effectively preserve society's values.
Al-Sudani stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of exerting more efforts to improve the level of classifications of Iraqi universities globally, and to enhance their sobriety and scientific outputs, in line with our social and economic needs, and scientific and human development."
