[Baghdad: Al-Furat News} President of the Republic, Fuad Masoum, discussed with the Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, the need to overcome obstacles to the formation of the government.
A statement issued by Al-Furat News Agency said that Masoum met on Tuesday evening, Abadi. "During the meeting, congratulations were exchanged on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. During the meeting, various important political issues were discussed."
He stressed Masoum and Abadi "on the need to work hard to coordinate the various national efforts in favor of maturing the understandings necessary for the post-election, and work to overcome the obstacles that should not delay the formation of the next government and avoid any vacuum."
The two presidents also stressed "the expectation of the results of the judiciary and respect for all what is decided by the competent judicial authorities."
