His Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Baghdad Palace, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Mr. Masrour Barzani.
During the meeting, they discussed the overall developments and developments in the country. Where the government program and the importance of supporting it to provide the necessary services were discussed.
In this context, the issue of the general budget and the importance of expediting its approval by the federal government and parliament were discussed.
There was also talk about the share of the Kurdistan region, and the emphasis on the need to send the amounts agreed upon by the Council of Ministers so that the regional government can pay the salaries of employees and its other obligations.
His Excellency the President discussed with the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government outstanding issues between the federal government and the region and the need to find ways to solve them, in order to strengthen the relationship between them to start implementing service projects and developing infrastructure in all governorates of Iraq.
