The head of the Association of Investors in the Iraqi Stock Exchange confirmed that the decline in investment in the Stock Exchange is due to companies not distributing profits.
Alaa Al-Moussawi told Al-Iqtisad News that investment in the stock market began to decline due to companies not distributing profits, and the dominance of major investors in the decision-making process in the company.
He added that most foreign investors refuse to enter the market due to lack of disclosure and lack of distribution of profits, especially after the decline of shares of many companies from 2 dinars to 300 fils.
