the government spokesman, Basem Al-Awadi, revealed, on Monday, the most prominent items of the general budget for the current year, while indicating that the budget deficit amounting to 63 trillion dinars is under control.
Al-Awadi said, "The deficit in the budget for the current year amounted to 63 trillion dinars, and it will be covered from a group of sources, including: the amount transferred in the Ministry of Finance, from the share of treasury transfers in the Central Bank, bonds, internal loans, and other sources."
He added that "the deficit is controlled and covered completely," noting that "the price of a barrel of crude oil exported was approved in the budget at $70."
He continued, "The quantities of crude oil exports are 3.5 million barrels per day, including 400 thousand barrels per day through the Kurdistan region," noting that "oil revenues amount to 117.252 trillion dinars, while non-oil revenues amount to 17.301 trillion dinars."
He stated that "the total proposed expenditures are 197.828 trillion dinars, and the investment projects are 47.555 trillion dinars." Ended 29 / H
