Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: Iraq and Germany signed an amendment to the agreement to assist the return of the displaced through the KFW Development Bank.
And the Ministry of Finance stated, in a statement received by Al-Masalla, that Sami received the Chargé d'Affaires of the Federal Embassy of Germany in Baghdad, Philip Hols Apfel, accompanied by the international director of the German Development Bank, Anna Banke, and the meeting witnessed the signing of the amendment to an agreement within the German credit facilities projects to assist the return of the displaced in Iraq (GCFI). Via German Development Bank KFW.
The Minister of Finance referred to Iraq's openness to all forms of trade and economic exchange and partnership with the German side, and all that aims to develop cooperation in the financial and investment sectors and the entry of German companies into development projects in Iraq.
In turn, the German charge d'affaires expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Finance for her interest in continuing the relations of the two countries, stressing his country's keenness to strengthen the bonds of joint cooperation at various levels, including the file of providing support to the displaced people of Iraq.
