[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The House of Representatives held its twentieth session, headed by Muhammad al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Council, and the presence of 198 deputies, to read a report and discuss the draft federal budget law for the fiscal years 2023- 2024-2025.
The Parliamentary Media Department stated: "The Council voted at the beginning of the session, approving the Cabinet's decision related to calculating the pension for the former Governor of Basra, Muhammad Musabeh Al-Waeli, and the martyr Abeer Salim Nasser, Director of Karbala Municipality , after adding the paragraph to the agenda of the session at the request of 80 deputies.The committee
Read The Ministry of Finance issued its report on its vision of the draft federal budget law for the years 2023-2024-2025, in addition to reading the two supporting committees, Strategic Planning and Federal Service, and Economy, Industry and Trade, their report on the draft law.
The interventions of the members of the Council focused on demanding an increase in allocations for the development of regions and governorates, especially the investment side, and a demand for setting a table for the debts owed by the Kurdistan Regional Government and a review of increasing the amounts of the region's salaries, as well as a demand for a clear vision and taking into account the fluctuations of the oil market and an increase in allocations for the Ministry of Education to meet many of its requirements in addition to the Ministry of Agriculture and include defense mobilization allocations to the ministry's budget.
After that, it was decided to make the session open, to resume at one o'clock in the afternoon to complete the discussion of the general budget law./ End 7[/rtl]
