Shafaq News/ The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani stressed, on Thursday, the need not to prevent the process of distributing salaries in the region by any person, the first political party, calling for the necessity of holding all those who do this matter accountable.
This came in a statement issued by Masrour Barzani today, following accusations leveled at the regional government by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan of not sending the salaries of employees and retirees in Sulaymaniyah.
Barzani said in his statement, "We in the Kurdistan Regional Government serve our citizens, and despite all the obstacles, obstacles and pressures, we continue our efforts to improve the living conditions of citizens."
He added, "During the difficult stages of Corona and the economic pressures in the region and the world, we were able to continue paying salaries and stabilize the economic conditions in the region," stressing that "we will continue to serve citizens with their support, and we are optimistic about improving conditions in the region in all respects."
Masrour Barzani continued by saying, "No person or entity anywhere in the region should prevent the process of distributing salaries, and salaries and people's livelihood should not be confused with conflicts and political problems, and the country's revenues must be in the service of citizens."
He also pointed out that "all those who disrupt this process (distribution of salaries) must be accountable to the people and the law."
