The General Company for Textile and Leather Industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced today, Saturday, the marketing of a number of its products to various parties from the public and private sectors.
A statement of the company, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: "The Iraqi Engineers Syndicate was equipped with handmade carpets of pure wool with distinctive colors and patterns, during a visit by a delegation from the Syndicate to the Handmade Carpet Exhibition, and expressing their admiration for the handmade carpet products that represent the history and civilization of the Mesopotamia Valley and from the popular heritage." 100% manual Iraqi.
The statement added, "The company's leather factory has equipped Al-Madar International Company with (2078) men's service shoes, natural black leather, from the factory's Baghdad site, in addition to supplying the private sector with (200) bags of educational medical tools, red color, with a black accessory, from the site."
