Today, Sunday, the Housing Fund of the Ministry of Construction and Housing announced its procedures to facilitate and simplify the granting of loans to citizens.
The director general of the fund, Diaa Mojed, said, in a statement to the official news agency, that "the central bank department represented by the governor, general managers, and existing employees has provided support to the housing fund through the central bank's initiative since its inception in 2016 until now."
He added, "The Central Bank recently sent a letter that includes a request from the management of the Housing Fund and the Real Estate Bank to strengthen their capital for the purpose of granting new loans, and this indicates that the initiative at the present time depends only on the amounts that were previously granted."
Mojed explained, "The Housing Fund, and based on the directives issued by Minister Bankin Rikani, simplified the procedures for citizens from the beginning of applying for the loan until the completion of handing over the deed, and this is what the citizen noticed by reviewing the fund and completing the procedures for granting loans."
He pointed out, "There are some procedures that have been simplified through the sponsors, and other procedures will be simplified in the coming days in the event that the approval of the amendment to the housing law is completed."
