    Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: The government spokesman, Basem Al-Awadi, revealed the advantages of the development path project on Iraq's economic future, while indicating that the Prime Minister had adopted an approach that would rebuild the philosophy of the Iraqi economy.
    Al-Awadi said in a statement, followed by the obelisk, that the giant development road project, with economic and geopolitical dimensions, will turn Iraq into an international land corridor by linking the West with the East, in addition to that it will be a historic starting point in changing the compass of the Iraqi economy towards diversity and non-oil resources and will open hundreds of thousands of opportunities. Working as an artery for the port of Basra and the industrial city of Basra.
    He added that the project will make the road from Iraq a meeting point for all the countries concerned with it, and with this regional and Arab participation it will be a project for the collective economy and the intertwining of investment interests for all countries in the region, stressing that this approach was adopted by the Prime Minister, as an inclusive Iraqi economic and political vision that rebuilds the entire philosophy of the Iraqi economy locally, It will be a new regional model for converging on major economic commonalities, exchanging benefits, and generating confidence that enhances security and stability in all of West Asia.
    It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Transport had announced the date of implementation of the development road by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani.
    The Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Ports affiliated to the Ministry, Farhan Al-Fartousi, said that during the current year, Iraq will witness the announcement of the implementation of the development path by the Prime Minister during a regional conference.
    And the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, said earlier that the development road project and the dry canal are not only for Iraq and Turkey, but for the region and the world, which is the global corridor for transporting goods and energy and linking the East with the West, pointing out that this corridor will transport goods and energy.
