    The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities set a period of 18 months to complete the projects to remove traffic jams, at a time when the Amanat Baghdad completed the expansion of 70 percent of the streets within the campaign (Baghdad is more beautiful).
    The official spokesman for the Ministry of Stabraq Sabah told Al-Sabah, followed by Al-Iqtisad News: "There are 60 projects to remove traffic jams, 19 of which are within the first package, of which 10 have been launched so far."
    He added, "These projects have been referred to companies with local and foreign expertise, and they are now under implementation, after their funds have been allocated and their designs prepared.
    He pointed out that "project referrals take place sequentially, because working at one time leads to uncontrollable traffic jams, even by finding alternative ways to continue the flow of movement and not to block streets, expressing his hope that a number of them will be completed during the year 2025."
    And he indicated that the completion period for each project ranges from 300 days to 18 months, pointing to the continuation of intensive meetings in order to determine the projects that will be launched within the second package in coordination with the General Traffic Directorate and the Municipality of Baghdad, because this stage includes the construction of bridges over the Tigris River, which is the matter. Which makes it need careful coordination.
    Sabah added that the ministry has set priorities in this area, which is to choose mainly densely populated commercial areas, with an emphasis on opening an alternative road to prevent crowds from occurring. He pointed out that there are a number of challenges that the ministry faced and seeks to overcome, the most important of which is the budget and the delay in releasing its amounts, as well as the issue of land acquisition and areas that are within the approaches to roads and bridges.
