A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, revealed that there are more than 250,000 people who receive more than one salary from the Iraqi state.
Cougar said, in a press interview, seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the number of official government employees differs from the number of salary recipients, as there are more than 4.074 million male and female employees in Iraq working in state departments and institutions, but there are currently about nine Millions of people receive salaries in Iraq with different pictures and addresses, such as retirees, martyrs, social care, missing persons and political prisoners.
He added that more than 250,000 employees in Iraq receive more than one salary, while there are those who receive 6 salaries.
