Iraq opens the electronic passport system in Kuwait

A statement of the Ministry of the Interior, a copy of which {Euphrates News} received, stated that: “In continuation of the approach of the Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari regarding simplifying procedures for all our citizens at home and abroad with regard to their obtaining official documents and improving the level of services, the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence opened in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the State of Kuwait has an electronic passport system, and it has already started issuing the first passport for an Iraqi citizen there.
He added, "The Status Directorate will work to repeat this successful experience to include all Iraqi embassies in the countries of the world, in a way that enhances the services provided by the Ministry of Interior to the citizen."
