Today, Saturday (September 9, 2023), the US Central Command announced the outcome of its operations against the terrorist organization ISIS, which it carried out during the past month in Iraq and Syria, indicating that it amounted to 36 operations in cooperation with partner forces against the ISIS organization in Iraq and Syria during the past month, while confirming It continues its partnership with the Iraqi security forces as well as the Syrian Democratic Forces, determined to defeat the terrorist organization.
The Central Command said, in the monthly statement of its operations in the region, that “the operations in August included 28 joint operations in Iraq, which led to the killing of six ISIS members and the arrest of 18 others, while the operations in Syria resulted in the killing of an ISIS member and the arrest of 7 others.”
The statement quoted General Michael Corella, Commander of US Central Command, as saying: “Our partnership with the Iraqi Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces continues. We are focused on defeating ISIS and the constant threat it poses.
