The Central Bank of Iraq, on Sunday, warned the public of the existence of fake websites impersonating its identity.
The bank confirmed in a statement received by Mawazine News that “fake websites deceive users into performing some transactions related to this bank and entering transfer data.”
The bank called on the public “not to deal with fake websites,” pointing out that “the official website of the Central Bank of Iraq is (https://cbi.iq).”
