Former Kurdish MP Ghaleb Muhammad was accused, on Saturday, of arresting 12 people from the Popular Protests Committee in Sulaymaniyah, confirming his intention to go to the Federal Court to sue the regional government on charges of stealing salaries.
Muhammad said in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News: “Tomorrow will witness the filing of a lawsuit against Masrour Barzani in the Federal Court to recover the saved salaries.”
He added, "The Popular Protests Committee in Sulaymaniyah arrives in Baghdad to participate in filing the lawsuit against Masrour Barzani in the Federal Court."
He pointed out that "the region smuggles 250,000 barrels per day through the Turkish company Botash and is sold to Israel and others."
