Former MP Laith Al-Dulaimi announced, on Tuesday, the formation of the largest bloc within the Baghdad Provincial Council to manage the work of the council during the next stage.
Al-Dulaimi said in an interview followed by Mawazine News, “The largest bloc is within the Decisiveness, Determination and Sovereignty coalition, the State of Law coalition, and the Build coalition, and the positions have been distributed equally.”
He added, "The Chairman of the Baghdad Provincial Council, Ammar Al-Qaisi, its Governor, Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi, and the Vice-Chairman of the Provincial Council, Abu Ali Al-Juwaibari, were elected within the bloc." He
explained that "the largest bloc will accomplish all political obligations in Baghdad, and some candidates will be chosen to fill the remaining positions."
