, after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, the Ministry of Commerce will begin preparing citizens who want construction baskets.
The Director General of the Department of Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry, Talib Hassan Nimah, explained in a statement to “Al-Sabah” that preparing the construction basket, which will include the sale of subsidized construction materials to citizens, will be sponsored by the General Company for Construction Materials in cooperation with a private sector company. He added that people with limited income can buy in installments and at subsidized prices by obtaining loans from Rafidain Bank in the amount of (3 to 30) million dinars, which include employees, people with social care, retirees, military personnel, and the Popular Mobilization Forces, whose salaries are nationalized, while the controls for applying for it for non-employees will be announced later. Nehme continued that it is paid through a special electronic payment platform (pos), which is characterized by obtaining the official exchange rate, security in commercial transactions, saving time and effort in paying government fees, in addition to encouraging electronic commerce and increasing job opportunities. He revealed that more will be provided. From 16 thousand models of construction materials gradually in Al-Dabash stores in Baghdad, in addition to preparing centers for sale within the capital and the governorates at prices that compete with their counterparts in the local markets, confirming that they are subject to inspection and quality control and from certified international origins.
