    Today, Tuesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed the necessity of opening an air line with Armenia and facilitating entry visas, while the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagen Khachaturian, expressed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Iraq in the fields of information technology and clean and renewable energy.
    Al-Sudani's office said in a statement received by the Al-Ma'louma Agency, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' Al-Sudani received the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagen Khachaturian, and his accompanying delegation, who arrived in Baghdad today on an official visit."
    He stressed "the importance of this visit, which comes after a series of important meetings between officials of the two countries," expressing his appreciation for "the Armenian government's directions towards developing bilateral relations."
    He pointed to "the important investment opportunities and projects that Armenian companies can contribute to, especially the development road and the large port of Al-Faw, and the projects related to them," calling for "the establishment of a joint forum for businessmen between the two countries."
    He stressed "the necessity of opening an airline between the two countries, signing a memorandum to avoid double taxation, and facilitating the granting of entry visas to encourage mutual tourism," stressing "Iraq's aspiration to cooperate with Armenia in the field of energy, information technology, and electronic governance."
    He expressed "Iraq's pride in Iraqi citizens of Armenian origins, and that they represent an important addition to the diversity of Iraqi society, through their contribution in various scientific, medical, social and cultural fields," expressing his appreciation for "Armenia's position in voting in favor of a ceasefire in Gaza."
    For his part, President Khachaturian expressed his thanks for the warm reception, noting that "his visit expresses the sincere desire to develop relations between the two countries."
    He confirmed that he attended at the head of an official delegation, accompanied by a delegation of businessmen. In order to explore the available opportunities and expand the economic partnership between the two countries.
    During the meeting, the Armenian President explained that “there are a number of things that unite the two countries,” recalling that “Iraq was among the countries where the Armenians took refuge during the days of the genocide.”
    He expressed his country's readiness "to cooperate with Iraq in the fields of information technology, banking, and clean and renewable energy." Ended 25 hours
