MP from the New Generation Movement, Mwafaq Hussein, accused the Kurdish Democratic Party of causing economic and political collapse due to the extremism in its positions.
Hussein told Mawazine News, "The regional government has lost its legitimacy due to the crimes committed against the region, as the region is witnessing the killing of journalists and the restriction of freedom of expression."
He added that "the economic and political conditions in the region are very bad," noting that "there is great popular anger in the region."
He pointed out that "the Kurdistan region is witnessing a political and administrative vacuum due to the policies of Barzani's party," noting that "human rights organizations and institutions have filed complaints with international courts against Masrour Barzani."
