The Jordanian Chamber of Commerce announced today, Wednesday, that Iraq came first among the countries importing commercial goods from Jordan during the last two months of the current year 2024.
The Chamber said in a statement followed by Mawazine News, that Amman’s trade exports increased during the last two months of the current year. To about 187 million dinars, compared to 184 million dinars for the same period last year.
She continued, "Iraq came first as the Arab country that imported the most from Jordan in terms of the value of imported goods during the past two months, reaching 100 million Jordanian dinars, followed by Egypt with 16 million Jordanian dinars, then the Emirates with 15 million dinars, Saudi Arabia with 10 million dinars, and India fifth." 7 million Jordanian dinars.
The Chamber noted that, “The Amman Chamber of Commerce issues certificates of origin for agricultural and animal products, raw Jordanian natural resources, and for foreign goods that are being re-exported,” noting that “the certificates of origin that went to Iraq amounted to 344 Jordanian dinar certificates for the same period last year.” .
She added by saying, “The value of exports of foreign products (re-exports) during the last two months of the current year is about 105 million dinars, then industrial is 35 million dinars, Arabic is about 18 million dinars, agricultural is worth 16 million dinars, and the rest goes to other products.”
The US dollar is equal to about 70 Jordanian dinars.
