    [size=45]Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, and Amos Hogstein, Special Presidential Coordinator for Global Infrastructure and US Energy Security, discussed the security conditions in the region and the extent of their impact on the economy and the market, especially the energy market and prices.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, “Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, met at the White Palace with Amos Hogstein, the Special Presidential Coordinator for Global Infrastructure and Energy Security, as part of continuing intensive meetings with American officials to discuss various aspects of bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States of America.”
    He added, "During the meeting, they discussed the security situation in the region and the extent of its impact on the economy and the market, especially the energy market and prices. The two sides discussed the role of international companies in the oil industries in Iraq and the investment process in Iraqi gas fields."[/size]
    [size=45]The statement continued, "In another part of the discussions, the American official touched upon some American oil companies operating in Iraqi Kurdistan and the problems they face due to the inability to export. In this regard, the minister referred to the work of these companies, and the view of the federal government on the one hand and the region on the other hand." “To the problem of exporting oil from the Kurdistan region of Iraq and through the oil pipeline linking the region to the Turkish port of Ceyhan.”[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, Amos Hogstein expressed his country's readiness to enhance ways of cooperation, especially in the field of energy, oil and gas, and he hoped to solve the oil problems between the federal government and the region because of its importance and impact on the oil sector and companies operating in the region and on the oil market.[/size]
