[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Representative Alia Nassif called on the Prime Minister, the Financial Supervision Bureau, the Public Prosecution, and the Integrity Commission to intensify efforts to collect debts owed by individuals and companies to the Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI), which exceed $750 million.
She said in a statement today, “At a time when Iraq is witnessing an urban and service renaissance and is in need of cash liquidity to cover projects, there is an opportunity for the state to finance part of the projects by collecting the debts of the Trade Bank of Iraq, which are owed by many individuals and companies, as there are 750 million dollars owed by two companies.” And owed by the borrowers, including the two Kurdish brothers (K.B.A.) and (S.B.A.), in addition to the so-called (K.M. Al-Shammari).
