Representative Daoud Al-Eidan confirmed, on Friday, the existence of a parliamentary movement to resolve the fate of food security contracts in all governorates.
Al-Eidan said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The food security contracts, which were officially approved by the House of Representatives in all governorates, are seeking to formulate a solution that contributes to consolidating their rights within the tables in the 2024 budget.”
He added, "The transfer of contracts in accordance with Resolution 315 is an option that we support and seek to achieve, with parliamentary support for our efforts in this direction. The Parliamentary Finance Committee has been addressed in order to include it in the upcoming schedules."
He pointed out that "food security contracts, like all other categories, need support in order to continue to obtain their entitlement, especially since most of them have academic qualifications in various specializations."
Food security contracts in the governorates include thousands and they are from different specializations, including education. Ended 25 F
