    {Economic: Al-Furat News} The Vice Chairman of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee, Adnan Al-Jabri, revealed a proposal to establish Iraqi refineries in neighboring countries.

    Al-Jabri said: For the program {Free Speech} broadcast by Al-Furat satellite channel this Wednesday evening, it was stated that: “
    Iraq needs to achieve self-sufficiency in supplying electricity, increasing oil exports, and investing in gas instead of importing.
    - There is a proposal to establish Iraqi refineries in neighboring countries to achieve high revenues from oil derivatives, which are Ideas are under study to ease the geographical pressure on Iraq, and there is an attempt to modify the outlets for exporting Iraqi oil.
    - American companies are among the most important companies in the world and their entry into Iraq will cast a shadow on international investment companies.
    - The visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani to Washington to convey the Iraqi vision abroad.
    - The energy files are interconnected and integrated, some complementing the other, and their solution lies in bringing in specialized companies for investment.
     - Iraq is now heading towards integrated contracts to solve all energy problems.
    - The Iraqi market is attractive due to the quality of Iraqi oil and the ease of extraction and the entry of international companies was good. Only ExxonMobil withdrew for internal reasons. This is normal.
    The Iraqi government focused on the industry to get out of oil rents and convert them to oil derivatives to be self-sufficient and export the surplus. 
    The world is self-sufficient in some oil derivatives and exports them to the world, including white and black oil, liquefied gas and others. There is also a tendency to invest in farms in Africa. 
    The water crisis is on its way to being resolved with the Turkish side, and the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is very close. The water issues and the re-export of oil through the port of Ceyhan will be discussed, in addition to the Bakaka file and the path to development.
    -Iraq has obtained new exemptions regarding the import of Iranian gas, and will continue to grant exemptions until self-sufficiency is reached.
