Shafaq News/ The CEO of the Iraq Fund for Development, Muhammad Al-Najjar, said that the volume of the Fund’s expected Qatari investments exceeds 3.5 billion dollars.
Al-Najjar indicated in statements that there had been talks between Aramco to invest in the oil and gas sector and others for 3 years, but so far no agreement has been reached, despite the existence of a desire from both parties.
The CEO of the Iraq Fund for Development pointed out that Iraq now has approximately 3,000 megawatts of renewable energy with companies, some of which are from Saudi Arabia, noting that there are projects with Saudi Arabia in the electricity sector worth up to 3 billion dollars.
