The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities reported yesterday, Saturday, the launch of the “Third Iraqi Travel Market” exhibition in the capital, Baghdad, with broad local, Arab and international participation, noting that the exhibition will continue for two days.
A statement by the ministry stated, “Under the supervision, sponsorship, and participation of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, the Iraqi Tourism Authority, and the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Tourism Authority, the third Iraqi Travel Market Exhibition was launched in the capital, Baghdad, with broad local, Arab, and international participation from airlines, travel and tourism companies, hotels, systems, and a tourist reservations platform from various governorates.” Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
He added, “The exhibition witnessed the presence and participation of a number of ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries, experts, academics, and directors of companies and organizations specialized in the tourism and economic field from the private sector. “
The exhibition’s media coordinator, Wissam Al-Helou, confirmed, according to the statement, that “the launch of the exhibition represents a tourist communication point in the field of internal and external exhibitions and enhances its role at the Arab and global levels, as we work to highlight Iraq as an important tourist destination in the Middle East and promote archaeological and cultural tourism and the holy shrines on the land.” Mesopotamia.
He pointed out that “the exhibition allocated promotional sections and programs to fully explain the mechanism for granting electronic visa facilities to Arabs and foreigners coming to Iraq.”
Al-Hilu stated, “The exhibition prepared fertile ground for concluding understandings and signing agreements between Iraqi, Arab, and foreign tourism institutions participating in the event, in order to contribute to revitalizing tourism work and the private sector, increasing the numbers of tourists arriving to the country, and creating new job opportunities in the various participating sectors.”
