The head of the National Investment Authority, Haider Makiya, revealed that the procedures for announcing the city of the holy banks of Karbala are close to being completed, while he indicated that the second round of residential projects includes 10 cities.
Makiya said in an interview followed by Mawazine News, “The residential investment projects that we announced were 5 projects, the most recent of which was Al-Jawahiri in Baghdad and Al-Ghazali in Mosul,” indicating that “it is hoped that some procedures will be completed soon to announce the city of the holy banks of Karbala.”
Makiya added, “The residential projects include two rounds, the first will be 5 projects, and the second will be 10 residential cities,” noting that “they will be announced after all approvals are completed.”
