UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said on Saturday that he should leaders of the Group of Twenty focus on creating jobs for young people, climate change and sustainable development.
He said to reporters in Brisbane, which hosts the Group of Twenty, which started its business on Monday and ends on Sunday summit, he impressed the aim of the G20 to promote global economic growth rate of 2 percent over the next five years, but it is important to focus on the growth of some sort, and not as just.
He added that "we should put the work table supports sustainable development and creates decent work opportunities, particularly for young people." He said, "I urge the leaders of the major economies and others, especially the leaders of the G-20, to move forward with contributions to maintain this momentum.
"Said Ban Ki-moon, the need to finance sustainable development through public and private investments. He called on the Group of Twenty to its efforts to reform the international financial system and to strengthen tax systems and the fight against corruption and the redefinition of its obligations.
At the opening of the heads of states and governments of the participating countries meeting speech, he asked Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott from the audience to "speak from the heart." He said, "If you can trust to talk from the heart rather than reading a speech, it would be a good thing, and if we can shortcut and (talk) for five minutes at the most, it would be a good thing."
Abbott came this request while overshadowing the dispute between Russia and the West on the economic discussions to revive growth of tax evasion and infrastructure. And Abbott himself stoked the controversy by drawing sharp criticism to Russia on Friday, accusing President Vladimir Putin that he wants to "restore the lost glory of Tsarist Russia and the Soviet Union."
US President Barack Obama said that the United States can not bear the sole responsibility for global growth, calling on the Group of Twenty to move in order to grow. Obama said in a speech on the sidelines of the Group of Twenty in Brisbane "in recent years, secured the United States pursuant to more people than all the combined advanced economies, but we can not expect the United States to bear alone the burden of the global economy."
"The Group of Twenty in Brisbane is located upon themselves to move and stimulate demand and further investment in infrastructure and create jobs for people in both our countries." The United States Wednesday expressed fears of a "lost decade" for the European economy, the region's leaders and invited to take "decisive steps" to stop the decline in activity in the continent that show new signs of a slowdown.
He said US Treasury Secretary Jacob Liu, "The world can not possibly be a lost decade in Europe, it is necessary to carry out the national authorities and the European institutions, the other firm steps to reduce the risk of sliding into the region's biggest decline."
And record gross domestic product for the euro zone progress Bnsph- 2 percent in the third quarter of the year in slightly better than expected growth, according to preliminary estimates of the European Office of Statistics (Eurostat).
Though gross domestic product growth remains weak, but it exceeds analysts, who bet on 0.1 percent in response to questions, Dow Jones Newswires forecast.
Eurostat also raised its figures for growth in the first and second quarters of the year to 0.3 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively, compared with 0.2 percent and 0 percent previously.
This is the promise of the leaders of the Group of Twenty summit in Australia during Saturday that they do what they can to "eliminate" the epidemic of Ebola, which has killed more than five thousand people in West Africa.
He said the leaders of the twenty richest nations in the world, in a statement released at the conclusion of the first day of the summit, which ends Sunday: "The members of the Group of Twenty vow to do what must be to eradicate the epidemic and to cover economic and humanitarian implications in the medium term."
