BAGHDAD - morning
I checked the Committee on Economic Affairs during the third session on Tuesday held proposals meeting of the Committee in the previous session with a large number of experts, economists and bankers Iraqis to follow up and implement the suggestions and recommendations to cut costs and increase revenue and to emphasize the practical and operational procedures to meet the pressing financial crisis.
Chaired by the Minister of Finance Session Hoshyar Zebari, the participation of the ministers of planning, industry, minerals, trade agency and the central bank governor and chairman of the National Authority for Investment and Advisor to the Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Director General of the Legal Department of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
For its part, confirmed a member of the economic and investment commission parliamentary Najiba Najib possibility of providing employees' salaries and social protection «effectively ». She said Najib in a press statement, said that« there are expectations that oil prices up after the middle of this year to 50 or 60 dollars as they were in last year «She added Najib, that« there are procedures to cope with the financial crisis, including the sale of property the state-owned in most Iraqi cities and have great values », noting that« those responsible for the Real Estate State file indicated the possibility of returning property to the state funds estimated at $ 10 billion a month ».opent, that« Iraq needs a month to more than $ 7 billion in order to pay salaries and network social protection and obligations of the war », pointing out that« the state can provide the employees' salaries, social protection and effectively covered during the current year ».
