A statement by the US embassy in Baghdad, said theMacgork "will meet with senior government officials , Iraqis and Iraqi security forces and representatives of the coalition led by the United States."
He added that "Macgork will be discussed during these meetings continued support for the efforts ofthe coalition led by Iraq to defeat Daash, in addition to other regional developments."
In the meantime , the White House said US Vice President Joe Biden search in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi conducted, on Wednesday, the military aid requested by Iraq to fight al Daash.
The White House said in a statement that Biden also pledged US support for the efforts of Iraq to bolster its economy, and said Washington would work with Group of Seven countries and others to ensure the provision of necessary financial resources to Iraq to fight Daash.
